Project Manager United Kingdom
We are looking for a motivated Project Manager (m/f) in Nottingham to join our international team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Overall management of schedule and cost performance for technical integration projects (experience serving in the Public Transportation Market and with Ticketing and/or Real Time Passenger Information schemes is a plus but no must).
- Management and coordination of engineering resources, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve the project’s schedule and cost objectives.
- Project Status Reviews for both the external customer and INIT Executive Management Team.
- All project management tasks including but not limited to: creation and management of master schedules, material and labor financial forecasts, statements of work for subcontractors, purchasing requisitions, etc…
- Travel to customer site for project reviews, design reviews, testing activities and travel to INIT headquarters in Germany (more than 50 %)
Other Responsibilities:
- Support new business initiatives such as proposal preparation.
- Negotiate technical statements of work and price for new projects.
- Project risk assessment and management.
- Continue formal training to maintain program management skill set.
- And all other duties as assigned.
Technical Knowledge / Skills required:
- Bachelors or Master Degree in Engineering/Business Management or equivalent field of study.
- Two years of related experience and a PRINCE 2 qualification desirable.
- Profound MS Office skills
